This past weekend was really fun. I visited my family on Friday. Mom and I tried out a new recipe by Rachel Ray, Bolognese bread pizza. It was pretty good but it made so much food! Mom froze half of it for another day. It needed some extra seasoning, perhaps fennel or oregano. I'll try it again and tweak the ingredients. On Saturday I drove to Atlanta to visit my friend Consuela. We had a lovely lunch at The Cheesecake Factory and then did some shopping at the mall. After that we went to see
Sex and the City 2.

I thought it was really good. I expected it to be awful because the reviews weren't great but I really enjoyed it (except Liza Minnelli, that part was soooo wrong). It didn't seem as long as the first movie and I really loved the story line. The movie was followed by dinner at LongHorn. I had their yummy salmon and potatoes au gratin (a new side dish that is equally delicious and sinful). We followed dinner with a truly magical experience. We had frozen yogurt at
Yogli Mogli. It. Was. Fantastic.

I loved it. So many flavors to choose from, you get to put as much or as little as you want in your cup, mix flavors or keep it singular. And the toppings, so many toppings. I had cake batter and very strawberry. Yum!! For now, they are only in Atlanta but I think they would do well anywhere. To round out the fun weekend we went to the Princess Diana
exhibit on Sunday at the Atlanta Civic Center.

The wait was a little long and then the line just really didn't move at all but eventually the space opened up a little and we could walk around and look at our leisure. We saw her crowns, wedding gown, various outfits, read information about her humanitarian efforts and the very moving speech her brother Charles made at her funeral. It ends this coming weekend so I'm glad we were able to see it. Anyway, I had a really great time and enjoyed my days away from work.
