New Addition

Jeff and I have considered getting a playmate for Sandi for about a year now. Duke was a trial that did not go well (he was adopted that same week by someone else) but the thought has been in the back of our minds. A couple weeks ago a friend of Jeff's found a puppy alone on the side of the road. We went to see him that night and went to dinner and talked things over. After dinner we picked up the puppy and decided to bring him to the house and see how it went. I think we both secretly felt that we wanted to keep him after the first day but didn't really confirm it to each other until 3 days later. I've named him Remy after an X-Men character who possess the power of hypnotic charm. That's him for sure. He sleeps a lot, eats a lot, and pees a lot (outside). He is super affectionate and adorable. Sandi wasn't fond of him at first but she's warming up to him. They've started playing together more. We are sure to lavish lots of attention on her. Remy loves to sit in my lap but his favorite thing is licking everyone's face. I'll get some pictures posted soon.
