Happy Halloween!

Jeff and Sandi met me at a pumpkin patch after work on Thursday. A local church has a pumpkin patch each year and I love their display. This year they used huge bales of hay and big tubes to make giant spiders (can't believe I forgot to take a picture of that).

I'm not sure what Sandi felt about the whole experience but I think she had a good time.

The ground was a little soggy but I think we picked a winner. I'm wearing my Haunted Mansion t-shirt from Disney.
Jeff's nephews visited this weekend so Saturday night we carved the pumpkin together. I drew the very unique face and carved the eyes and nose.

Austin knows how to ham it up for the camera. Cody made several interesting faces.
Jeff did the mouth. We cleaned out the muck and rinsed the seeds to roast in the oven.

This is our final product.
Cody loved the pumpkin seeds but Austin was not a fan.
We won't have any trick-or-treaters because the house is down a very long driveway but I bought myself a kit-kat to enjoy. I hope everyone has a Happy Halloween!
