My favorite month has arrived and I'm so happy. The weather is cooler and today is the first day of the Georgia National Fair in Perry. I plan to be there this Saturday and get sick off fair food and see all the animals and crafts I can stand. The last several weeks have been unbelievably busy with classes so I'm excited about doing something fun away from work. I just finished reading
Jane Slayre by Charlotte Bronte and Sherri Browning Erwin.
I enjoyed this book immensly. It's the same wonderful
Jane Eyre that I love but with some vampyre killing and such thrown in.
Jane Eyre is one of my favorite books, and most admired characters, and the best of all the Bronte sister books in my opinion.
This is a portrait of Charlotte Bronte. You'll notice they used her picture for the cover of Jane Slayre but replaced the book with a stake. Pretty neat. It was a great read to get into the Halloween spirit.
