Here's an image that's larger so you can read the fine print (sort of).
By "my own version" I mean I changed the color scheme and specific locations to reflect places that Jeff and I visited or saw while in Kauai. This was easy enough but the spacing of the words was a little difficult. I made a list of all the places we visited or saw on our helicopter tour and then added them in four rows of individual text boxes using Publisher.
They're almost identical other than the main color. And here is an unbelievably poor photograph of the completed and printed artwork framed.
You can see me, my toaster, kitchen cabinets, and a bottle of bleach in the glass reflection. I don't love the frame and I'm ready to branch out from my YoungHouseLove obessession with only using white picture frames so I may purchase something else down the line. I don't have a place for this yet because I am currently without permanent residence but I'll find a nice spot (in a better frame).
