In the picture above it kind of looks like the chicken has the skin on it but I did bone in, skinless. I know my pictures don't look that appetizing but this was a fantastic meal. I also made some roasted green beans (and I just now realized I forgot to add the Parmesan cheese at the end--they were still delicious!) from a blog.
I'm not sure if it's supposed to have that much liquid by the time the dish finished cooking but the instructions didn't say anything about a thickening agent. I soaked the luscious broth onto a yummy croissant.
It was really fantastic and I'll make this at least once a month when I feel like being fancy and naughty. Jeff loved it and the house smelled divine. You can't really go wrong with any dish that calls for butter and bacon.
