Fussy Sandi

Sandi has a lot of personality. She likes to play hard, she yodels sometimes instead of barks, she hates to be held but loves a belly rub, she has severe separation anxiety when Jeff is gone, she loves to swim and fetch her Frisbee, she prefers people food to doggy food, she hates thunder storms and gunshots, and she also hates to be disturbed when she is sleeping or resting. Each morning I go to her room to do my push-ups and crunches. She snorts and huffs the whole time I'm in there. I also have to go into her room to get my clothes in the morning. This requires that I turn on a light to see into my closet. She doesn't like noise, light, or touching when she is trying to sleep. Me turning on light always causes loud huffs and sighs of frustration. One morning I found her like this after turning on a light.
I couldn't resist taking a picture and then showing Jeff later how oppressed Sandi is living with us. Poor thing! By the way, this is how her bed looks on a typical day. I arrange the pillows nicely every few days and within minutes they're spread out all over the bed. Sandi and I have an interesting relationship. Most of the time I think she resents my presence because I'm stealing away Jeff's attention. Other times she wants to snuggle with just me and demands attention. She's a typical female so I guess I shouldn't be so surprised by her behavior.

She sounds a lot like our dog Sunny, a lot of huffing and puffing if she is woken up before she is ready. Love the butt shot, this is really cute!
