Say What?

The first week of class has come and gone. We have some discussion assignments and a healthy amount of reading to complete. I'm remembering my MLIS days of reading and not knowing half the words being thrown at me and it looks like earning this certification will be a repeat. Here are some of the words that I've encountered in week one of class:

The dictionary has become my new best friend. The worst part is not necessarily having to understand the vocabulary but being able to regurgitate it, logically, in our class forum. I've done a few posts so far and each time I've felt slightly nauseous. We get docked for spelling and grammar errors (as we should) and we also have to comment on our classmates' comments. Lots of potential for tension and resentment. Oh, well, it's nice to have a new goal to accomplish.
