I bought the app that same day and have been playing with it ever since. I don't love what it does to portraits of people. It kind of makes them a little creepy but as far as landscapes, nature stuff, and my dogs, it's marvelous. Here are some of the pictures I played with. This first set is from our winter storm a couple weeks ago.
This is Jeff looking for beach glass at Glass Beach in Kauai.
Here's another beach in Kauai but we never learned the name of this one.
And these two need no introduction.
I love how it curves the edges and looks like a real painting (to my untrained eyes at least)! I prefer the Natural and Rainy options. The "It's Technical" feature was my favorite but it has a faint grid pattern that takes away from the picture. I printed the one of the pups and framed it in an Ikea frame I bought about 2 years ago. So, this whole craft cost me $2.99 (the cost of the app).
I'll continue playing with this app and maybe one day I'll take a picture that has such a marvelous Waterlogue transformation that I'll want to blow it up poster size and get a nice frame. Like when I took these pictures at the zoo last year
And they look like this after playing with Waterlogue...

I like this. Very different. Technology is way ahead of me.
