Waiting and Waiting

Things have been a little slow at work the past several weeks. Summer is always slow and even though the prep students are back on campus the college still have a few weeks to go until Fall quarter. We're keeping busy with meetings, helping the new students get familiar with the library, and adding books to our next order. Now that I have all the time in the world to read to my hearts delight it's a shame that the books I want to read most haven't been published yet. First is my beloved Last Apprentice series. I Am Alice is book 12.

The red sticker says "The series that inspired a major motion picture." I've already blogged about that and I'll certainly be in line to see this adaptation. Speaking of books being made into movies, Divergent will be in theaters early next year. The next book will be out next month.

I could have bet money that Roth was going to title this book Convergent but as you can see I was wrong. This next book will also be out next month. This next series is awesome, very fast-paced and disturbing. I finished the first two very quickly and I'm afraid I'll forget some stuff before I get a chance to start Monsters.

Each are the final books in the series and I am dying to know what happens!
